Sharpe DVD
2 of 2 found this helpful What I particularly like about the Sharpe books and the DVDs is that they follow the history of a lengthy period of war which affected much of Europe for better or for worse in the early 19th century. Bernard Cornwell, the author, spent a great deal of time researching this period and then implanting his own characters into the plot, and just eased them in so that no historical facts were radically altered.
Each of these DVDs shows history as it happened with a brilliant cast and sub-plot to keep us glued from the start. The cinematography is excellent and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys watching battle scenes and high adventure. Even those who don't, will still get a lot of enjoyment from watching it I'm sure. Highly recommended.

I needed a strong holder for a large sat nav. Perhaps it would hold a smaller one but after two weeks of doing the job my sat nav fell to the floor.
