works OK so far.

The one I have started using works but I have not tested that the capacity meets the specifications. Being used to replace original battery in wireless headphones so the current demand is quite low. (I have not measured it.)

12V TVonics DVR-FP250 PVR replacement power supply

Solved the problem caused by the electrolytic capacitors in the original PSU as there ESR value had increased.

The problem on the DVR-FP250 PVR was reported as a disk problem. While looking on the internet to find out which model of disk drive was used in this unit I found reports that the apparent disk problem could be caused by the power supply. Checked the output of the original supply and the output was OK under static load. I then tried running the unit from a bench power supply and it worked without a problem. This made me think that the original power supply voltage dropped when the motor in the disk drive started so I ordered this power supply which solved the problem. Out of interest I checked all the electrolytic capacitors in the old PSU and found their ESR value had increased a significant amount and their capacity had dropped by a small amount.

Does what I bought it for.

I have only tested one of the devices and It works. I could not test it's calibration as I have no way to measure magnetic field strength. I only need it to compare magnetic field strengths without knowing their accurate value.
