Excellent 5HTP, recommended
1 of 1 found this helpful I am finding this as good as high-priced equivalents, and highly recommend this brand. I take 5 HTP for anxiety and insomnia, and by golly it works for me. Interestingly it seems to have the side-effect of making it easier for me to lose weight, though I couldn't say if this is just as a result of feeling less anxious therefore less prone to eat. Good stuff, thanks Lindens!

Mamonde rose water toner
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent, cooling, soothing toner, not at all like your average stinky alcohol-based thing. I am 59 and suffer from twitchy combination skin and probably rosacea, and this one tames it right down. It's also extremely gentle. I slap it on with my hands, then while my face is still damp I apply moisturiser - helps the moisturiser spread without pulling, and feels like it seals in more hydration (I'm no scientist). It also smells heavenly!
I noticed that the largest ingredient by far is good old rose water, so I did try plain rose water instead, thinking there would be no difference, but I quickly reverted to this product; it feels much nicer on the skin. So I guess whatever the Mamonde special sauce is is worth having. More costly than plain rose water from the middle eastern deli, but still good value, as it's a big bottle and is taking me a long time to use up. If you're stingy like me, I'd recommend the splash-it-on-with-your-hands method rather than wasting any using a cotton pad.
In short, the nicest and most effective toner I've used. Five stars!

Super steak knives
These knives are properly sharp and very well-balanced in the hand, making it easy to cut more challenging lumps of meat, or anything else that needs a sharp serrated knife, e.g. cake. Excellent value at this price. And it doesn't hurt that they are all different lovely colours!
