Cable
Good quality (at least cosmetically) and works OK. Very efficient turn-round of order.

Looks and feels good but it appears there may be problems with the mechanism
The jury is out on this. It arrived promptly, felt nice and solid and looks just right for its use in a Community Hall.
However it has stalled a couple of times with the hour and minute hands stuck at 9.45 but the second hand still running. It looks like the mechanism lacks the oomph to raise the hands past this heaviest position. We have put a new battery in it to see if that does the trick but if the problem persists it will have to go back. If it is going to eat batteries it is not fit for purpose.

1 of 2 found this helpful This was bought to replace an existing identical product which failed at six years old. I would really have expected better than that. However we are where we are and I decided to replace like with like as I didn't want any messy wiring issues. The disappointing thing is that the old transmitter thermostat unit is perfectly OK and works with the new SCR so I have purchased two bits of kit when only one was faulty: so guess it was the wireless reception bit that failed
