The laptop arrived perfectly and was packaged very well to prevent any further cracking to the aging plastic. Very pleased. Should be able to use my parts machine to bring this one back online no problem. Thanks!

The strangest seller, I won the auction and immediately paid for the order, after which the seller canceled the order without any reason. It is completely unclear why they do this. And how can you cancel an order when I won it and immediately paid for it! Unscrupulous and dishonest!

Solid mid/late 90's Sound Solution
If you're building a socket 7, Slot 1, or later Pentium 2/3 machine, this is an excellent card for the job. It's a full plug and play card (not recommended for mobos that don't support PnP) and installed without a hitch using Creative's SBBasic and CTCM utility in my DOS rig- sound quality was good, especially after giving the card and phono jacks a good cleaning. My card arrived a little dusty! But dust is sort of par for the course when you're dealing jn 20 year old hardware MIDI synth, FM, and standard fx all worked great, and I have tested the card in several games and found it to perform as expected. What more can you ask for? Maybe a Voodoo 2 for only 8 bucks! A man can dream...

Rip OFF
New production these are NOT. Arrived after nearly a month (posted from China, so that's not great surprise) and there is either no lithium battery inside, or it is as flat dead as the ones from 20 years ago. Less that 0.08 volts registered at the battery terminals with a Fluke meter, and CMOS battery fault errors when used in a Socket 7 motherboard. IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS PRODUCT TO REPLACE A DALLAS CMOS BATTERY/TIMING CRYSTAL UNIT FOR COMPUTERS WHICH REQUIRE THE DALLAS CMOS BATTERY, THESE ARE USELESS.
