Tap Wrench
Reasonably well made, used with a 12mmST tap to cut a thread for helicoil, felt secure without fear of snapping as previous cheap type do.

Thread repair kit.
Drill (12.3mm) wouldn't touch the mild steel shaft even after I it drilled out to 12mm (had been drilled to 11.5mm), drill material is very light weight with no markings to say what material was, although it measured the correct size. In the end I had to purchase a HSS drill to get correct size, then the tap wouldn't even start a tread let alone cut one, there was no "edge" to the cutting threads. Eventually gave up and bought V-line kit (twice the price) but it worked perfectly, tap really sharp cutting a clean thread for the thread inserts. These kits may be alright for soft alloys but for serious mechanical engineering use buy the proper ones. Buy cheap, buy twice!!
