Long term stove user...
Clearview stoves are excellent stoves. Over priced but excellent. Had mine for more than 12 years and it works hard. I've serviced it once about 3-4 years ago all internal bits apart from the grate, Log retainer and Ash pan were changed. The top baffle plate had a hole in the middle and was paper thin. This log retainer now needs replacing. Good value? probably, but I can't find it anywhere else and the stove needs one. It will very likely last another 12 years. So you judge I'm probably just tight.
It's absolutely great you can get all the spares and service it yourself. :-) I've even found a retro fit back boiler (£270 ouch) and thinking about that.
