Peco PL-70 - Servicing Cradle Railway Models

Servicing cradles ok but costly!

Bought 2 of these for loco servicing, but could do with a lot more when storing loco's aside, but the biggest draw back is the cost of these foam forms! Since buying these 2 cradle's I have made a whole lot of my own using foam packing around appliances and bathroom furniture for zero cost, and these work just as well too, and probably better as you make these up to you own requirements in width, height and lengths just a little adhesive is all that it takes, Oh, and a very sharp kitchen knife to cut the foam clean.

Take a view down a dark tunnel!

We have on our model railway layout a series of cameras around the layout portrayed onto tv monitors set up around the room, but there was a long tunnel at the back of the layout some 20 feet in length which we had no idea to what was going on within! So we saw these mini cameras on the web and consequently bought 2 of them so that we could see from both ends, these were small enough to hide in the top without causing any obstructions to moving trains. The pictures are crisp and clear even in night light, although the tunnels are lit with leds.
