parrot minikit
sets up quickly and easily first time. it has a strange pronunciation of keywords sometimes but does seem to improve with time.I found it stops working every now and again for no good reason, then it has to be set up again. It might only take a minute to do but it's a pain and shouldn't be necessary. Still you get what you pay for and it is a third of the price of a full blown parrot system. For the price, 5 stars. for the ease of use, 5 stars. for build quality, 5 starts. for dropping out without warning 3 stars. all round I give it four stars. If you can't afford the full on parrot then this is for you.

a bit boring
1 of 2 found this helpful While the content is ok, the endless and very long pauses in the delivery make this a tedious course to try and get through. I genuinely fell asleep half way through the first disk. Having tried other language courses of this type I expected more from this according to the write ups. It hasn't helped improve my French one bit, if anything it's put me off learning this way. Guess I'll just have to stump up for a proper tutor instead. For me this was a complete waste of time and money.

almost does the job
This booster gives me 14 channels on my office tv, a Hitachi 32" HD Ready set, which is 14 more than I was getting.(my office is at the back of the house in an enclosed area which is rubbish for portable aerials) Although it does get the main terrestrial 5 it fails completely to pick up any HD at all so the picture quality is about 80% at a guess with a fair amount of interference. All our other upstairs sets (3 of them) are connected to portable aerials and get absolutely clear reception. This one alone is on a cable which is shared with our main tv which receives over 100 freeview channels. So all in all for the sake of a few quid I've got some tv so almost does the job, but not quite. Would I recommend this item? Sorry but no.
