Wiring is a fiddle but well made and works well.
well made and does what it says on the tin. Other comments have pointed out there's no access to bring cables in from the outside, only from behind - which on a brick house and given it's a corner fitting is a problem. (I assume it was designed for wooden buildings). However, i simply drilled a hole under one side of the mounting bracket - there is enough room to get a cable through and then up into the unit. There's also little room to wire it up if you want the connector to stay where it is and you're using 1.5mm cable - but again, a bit of improvisation and abandon the connector mounting and it's fine.
The setup is very easy and the 2 I installed are working perfectly.
Too early to tell how long they'll last but construction and quality of plastics seem pretty good.

perfect
Button is good quality and backlight nice and bright. Just ensure you use the supplied resistor as 12v will blow the led.

Looks like new
1 of 1 found this helpful The case is good quality and aside from not saying "landrover" on the side, makes your key look a brand new one.
Only problem is, swapping the cases is not a simple DIY job. You need to cut the board out of the old case without damaging it (LR key cases are sealed and do not open) so you need a dremmel to cut it open.
it's also a good idea to replace the rechargeable battery whilst you're at it as they last 8 years or so (fine soldering required).
The only problem with these cases (I've done 2 and both have had the same issue) is the back of the case normally needs some fettling to fit as it doesn't allow enough space for the battery holder.
I used a dremmel to grind down the ridge in the back and the raised parts of the battery holder so they no longer touched. Then the lid clipped on.
Overall very happy with the case but it's not the simple kitchen table swap over most keys are.
