NOT THE ORIGINAL SWEETS
I bought these from the title Midget Gems. However, either the recipe has completely changed, or these are NOT the original sweets I remember from my childhood. The original sweets were small, quite hard and very fruity.
These are a poor substitute, the texture is too soft and although they taste of fruit of some kind, they are not the same quality as the original Midget Gems I thought I was buying. Sorry.

A Tasty Mistake
When I first bought these sweets, I made a mistake. I thought I was buying those hard little gums made by the Squirrel Company (same people who make similar scented sweets = Floral Gums).
At first, when these larger, softer sweets arrived I felt quite disappointed... until I tasted them... superb!!
They have a really brilliant cherry flavour, and virtually melt in the mouth. Really soft and very tasty. I have since bought them through choice... thanks to my tasty mistake.
