Fantastic beginners lens
2 of 3 found this helpful this is a great lens for close up pictures without having to be "sitting" on your subject, which makes it ideal for people who are just starting out with using detatchable lenses.
i take pictures of horses. as they are a little unpredictable a little distance between you both is often a good idea but i have managed to get some great close up shots without endangering my life.
i have a canon 20d and feel that if you can afford it, it is better to buy products that are made by the camera maker rather than the cheaper far eastern ones.

Kodak EasyShare ZD710 Digital Camera
this camera is on the whole easy to use. you can work out what most of the buttons do and the basic workings of how to take various types of pictures but to do the more intricate stuff, you need to read the book several times over before you even begin to understand what to do. the picture is so clear even at the highest zoom. it's the ideal camera to upgrade to before you move on to a professional one. my pictures have turned out so good i have entered some them into a photography competition!! the only bad thing about this camera is the i can't get out and use it enough!!
