Sturdy and Good value

only used this set once,and just one rod with worm fitted.It's quite robust, so not easy to bend around tight or limited access areas.The worm started to work loose part way through,so need to fasten really tight/keep checking it hasn't come off.Keep mine in the plastic bag it arrived in, as it has no bag for the bits.Couldn't clear my blockage this time,but it was a very hard to reach place,and couldn't give it a fair go.

Didn't Work For Me

I found this garlic peeled either didn't remove anything at all, or smashed the cloves to smithereens. Have used a lot using different techniques,but still no joy.

Not A Simple Swap

The valve I received was slightly different to my original Ideal Standard one.The rubber washer/seal at the base of the top unit was a different size,and wouldn't work with the original bottom bit.This meant I had to remove the whole unit instead of just replacing the top faulty bit.This made it a massive job, and meant having to dismantle the toilet,disconnect pipework and purchase other parts.I have 3 of the same kind of toilet,so I know this part was not an exact replica of the original.The toilet is now working properly,but at extra cost and a lot more work than I was hoping for.
