Energy Boost

I use these when cycling, they make a good little snacks in between gels or an energy bar. I've got used to using them, but when I did a charity ride with some work colleagues I gave some to one of the guys who was flagging and he felt better, then he kept asking for the "magic beans".

Soft and absorbant.

Don't be misled by the heading, these are not gauze, but a viscose material which is much softer and more absorbant. Have been using these for years, but have to buy my own now as my Doctor has stopped prescribing them. Getting more expensive, but found a good deal on ebay.

Quality front mech

When looking for a front mech I read a recommendation to try and upgrade to the XTR one. It may well be that the XT one would have been fine, but the XTR one is clearly a good bit of kit, light weight, smart finish and a good strong spring. I'm hoping for years of trouble free service. I couldn't justify the price of a new one, but buying a good used one meant that it was only slightly more than a new XT.
