1 of 1 found this helpful Cheap way of revitalising an old hi-fi system or any amplified speaker with an aux in jack. Can synchronise one or more of these to produce a linked system with no lag. Ideal Sonos alternative. Great for parties and for those that like to have the same music playing in multiple rooms. Fully customisable better than Bluetooth. Make sure you get the best price as you will need one for each speaker unit that you want to link. Set up is easy using the Google app on a smartphone. Works well with Google Home or Spotify.

Alternative to Sky subscription
1 of 1 found this helpful The box seems to be well made and is easy to set up and use. All programmes stream without any problem with our relatively slow 7-10Mb broadband. Bought this plus a Feesat Recorder with Freetime to save me a net total of £30 a month over my previous Sky subscription. The NOW TV Entertainment package covers all the channels we watch on Sky, which are not on Freesat, for £6.99/month and we have taken the Kids pass at 2.99/month for the grandchildren. On the downside, it is not easy to record from the Now TVbox, but most of the programmes we record are on Freesat anyway. Should cover all the extra costs within nine months from the savings. The NowTV box plus three months entertainment pass, plus the free month that Now TV gives you anyway means that the Now TV box is effectively free. The way Now TV is set up means that you can change your package as and when you want.
So in summary, the Now TV box functions well, you can upgrade and downgrade your package on a monthly basis to suit your needs, on the downside not being able to record from the NowTV box may be an issue and needs to be considered.
