Robust and fantastic value
It is an impressively solid, robust product – not the slightly flimsy thing I feared it might be! That said, it does need some skill in assembly. The instructions do not cover the difficult task of connecting the cables for the tension control – all it says is that 'force' should be used to hook it over, which I found impossible. I achieved it by slackening the nut, connecting the cables and then tightening the nut back up precisely to its original position. Also ignored in the instructions is the correct path for the electric wires in the area of the handlebar – you just need to take some time and be a bit clever in puzzling that one out. With better instructions, I'd have awarded 5 stars without any doubt at all.
