Century Jets

I had been trying to buy this book for about a year, but it is out of print and scarce. As a result it commands ridiculously high prices at the few places that can obtain it. It originally retailled at £24.95 but some prices quoted are uo to £200. I managed to get a pristine second-hand copy from the USA at a 'reasonable' £67 inc. postage, and am absolutely delighted with it. It covers the golden age of US military jets in great detail, accompanied by lots of superb photographs. Thoroughly recommended - at the right price!

Cheap Trick - Live in Australia DVD

I have been a Cheap Trick fan since the 70s when I saw them at Leicester De Montfort Hall, and they are still going strong(ish)after all this time. They are a great live act and so when I saw a copy of this DVD at a reasonable price I bought it. It brought back a lot of (fond) memories from all those years ago, and really showed what a terrific voice Robin Zander has. Of course, the rest of the band were great too, particularly the 'zany' Rick Neilson and his ever-changing guitars (swapped for almost every number). I really enjoyed the DVD and would recommend it to any Cheap Trick fan - or anyone who likes a fantastic live rock band. Now, when are they touring the UK again..............?
