usb lead.

This works fine but the end of the lead that plugs into the box/interface is a peculiar duel plug. This means that if you need the hdd any further away than 30cm and want to use an ordinary ,longer lead , you cant. you have to use the shorter lead that comes with it and perhaps get a usb male/female extension lead. I have a similar box that i plug into my smart tv using an ordinary long lead.

I have used Nick probably 4 times now for battery replacement / checking and I can say that he does a very good job, The key comes back professionally glued back together and the turn-around is amazing. He is very helpful over the phone should you have a problem. All in all I wouldnt bother trying to replace the battery yourself as, you can damage the board when you try to open the fob (with a stanley blade or the like) Just pay the money and leave it in the capable hands of the pros.
