An internal pickup that works!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I had previously used sound hole pickups for my acoustic guitar which sounded really trebly, picking up the high end strings without equalisation. Did an open mic night with another leading brand of sound hole pick up and it sounded awful. I took a chance on this internal pickup set, needed to carefully drill a hole and place pickups inside the guitar just behind the strings. The jack fitting went in snug when drilled, the only down side was that I had to purchase some extra adhesive pads (ones used for putting rear view mirrors on windscreens) to make sure the pickups stuck well to the inside of the guitar. But just a minor hick up, otherwise this set sounds great. Brings out the full tone of the acoustic sound inside the guitar, not just the tinny guitar string sound. If you don't have a few hundred (like me) for waste on a pro set and fitting, I would recommend. Brilliant!!
