Given age and rarity I didn’t want to return for refund, but I’d suggest the seller take more care with packaging similar items in future. Overall pleased with the item, but think it lucky it arrived without more damage than it did.

I now have had this system for some weeks and I am more than pleased . The quality is far better than the system it replaces.
All I can say is that the quality is far better than the system it is replacing, being both easy to install and set up and very versatile in picture layout

A BIT MORE HELP
1 of 1 found this helpful This amp works well and sounds good, just like the old amps did.I am old enough to know this.
Mine suffers a little with mains hum.
The problem is that there is not a practical layout with the kit and so I had to work it out for myself and I am not a electronic wiz kid and therefore the kit does not rearly cater for the amateur.
I know that in the write up it says this but there would be a bigger market if they catered for the non professional.I did ask Douk for more information which they supplied but is not in a format my computer recognizes so I cannot get at it.
SO as I said it is a nice amp, works well and I would like to build a bigger one but I would need a 'better book of words.'

VERSATILE
IT IS VERY VERSATILE AND MORE USEFUL THAN ORDINARY WALL PLUGS. FOR EXAMPLE A WALL OF BLOCK COVERED IN PLASTER BOARD USING LARGE DABS OF ADHESIVE LEAVES A GAP BETWEEN MAKING CONVENTIONAL PLGS NOT GOOD ENOUGH BUT USING THIS AN EXTRA LONG PLUG CAN BE CUT TO LENGTH MAKING THE FIXTURE A GOOD DEAL FIRMER.
