I saw the film in 1972 and enjoyed it immensely the DVD's are similar to my experience of the time however both the video and the DVD are slightly altered possibly due to the penchant for political correctness with which I do not concur with as the film was a work of art at the time and one shouldn't mess with art merely because views change. One may be aiming at a new audience who were not aware of the 1972 version though I find this a bit insulting to those who saw the original and expected a reincarnation of of their expectations.

the product is excellent good to see Gregory isaacs included unfortunately the bbc has a lot to answer for by not playing black music in the early sixties so it is not totally correct being taken from chart success only otherwise where is Prince Buster:s inclusion from bluebeat records I lived in earls court in those days close to where Trojan records were recorded.

1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't watch the series on tv but the box sets were amazing and hard to switch off. I would have liked to know a happier ending with him and his daughter reunited. part criticism on the series I would be extremely disturbed to find in a controlled environment that terrorist based individuals were able to infiltrate the CTU with impunity it would seem. Kiefer Sutherland was brilliant throughout. overall terrific viewing thankyou
