Re-run of a memorable film triggered by meeting one of the animators
I first saw the film during a visit to America in the 1980's. My interest was reawakened this year when I found myself in the company of an artist who had been an Assistant Animator in the making of the cartoon features. Apparently the animators involved with producing Roger's girl friend were in a locked room and nobody was to know about her until the film was finalised! The film retained its 'magic' for me and I marvelled again at the quality of the graphics. There was a moment of nostalgia to see Bob Hoskins in one of his best, in my view, acting roles - particularly as he had recently passed away.

Splendid performance at a realistic price
I bought this CD to listen to Raphael Ravenscroft's saxophone solo on the Baker Street track. Also because I enjoy the lyrics and melodies written by Scots (Paisley) born Gerry Rafferty in general.
The CD performed as well as I expected of an old previously owned recording.

Splendid little device at a good price.
Small good looking mains operated bedside clock radio with battery back up for clock. Good sound and volume from twin speakers. USB and SD card input facility to mp3 player for music and audio books listening. All easily operated from provided remote control. Auxiliary input jack and cable to connect phone etc. for output through speakers. (Not tried).
Only shortcoming - Would have liked an output socket for private (earphone) listening.
