Loved all the ANT+ features
Since I'm an avid cyclist, the ability to have my data appear in sync with the video is a great feature. There's something to be said about actually seeing the location where you were when you put up that effort. I like the shape of the camera itself, which isn't as block-shaped as others in this space.
The ability to set up the camera via one's smartphone (with the WiFi connection) is useful. It connected quickly to my power meters, heart-rate monitor, and other ANT+ devices. Just make sure you have only one of each type on in the area as it won't pair to multiple signals.
Only thing I'd say was a drawback was the lack of a lanyard to secure the camera to the bike (or any other platform). And while Garmin supplies a lot of different mounts for this, a bicycle handlebar clamp isn't one of them -- you'll have to purchase that separately.
Finally, you'll need a microSD card in order to get it started; it doesn't work without a card installed even for testing purposes.

It does what it says
Admittedly, I didn't put this through all its paces, but it did work out of the box. My idea was to build a PVR with this and an external drive. However, I made a mistake thinking I could put this on a network drive and media share the recordings to smart TVs around the house. Not the product's fault, I didn't have all the things lined up. At any rate, I'm keeping this as an option for a standalone PVR connected to the one HDTV.
As a side note: the channel reception wasn't any better or worse than the receiver I had previously connected to the antenna, so that's a plus.

Works as advertised
This strap works like the others do. Which means it's exactly like others since it's just branded "Garmin" and looks the same as other HRM straps I purchased. If you were happy with those you'll be happy with this.
