Invaluable for cleaning corrosion in hard to access places and battery contacts
I have been using this product for around 15 years and find it invaluable for cleaning battery contacts and removing corrosion from sensitive contacts. I find it hard to get and would prefer that Australia suppliers stocked it. One "pencil" usually lasts 2-3 years.

A handy addition to paint inspectors tool box
Not a scientific instrument but handle in the field for looking at issues with paint as large magnification is not always needed.
Lacks a graticule scale for various magnifications
