Used these for bottom of cast iron feet on outdoor benches. Prevents iron from contacting deck, which leaves rust. The pads allow moving of benches easily. The hole allows pads to screw on with supplied screws, and/or self adhesive layer. Self adhesive layer can be peeled off for lower profile install with screw. I drilled and tapped iron feet and used stainless steel #10 screws. Perfect.

Out of calibration
2 of 2 found this helpful Great tool - it's a Starrett so that is not surprising. I was surprised how far it was out of calibration as received. I am engineer and understand how to do this.
I would expect Starrett would have a flat and level surface traceable to NBS to use to set these up.
