A true gem of an album.
From the time the needle first hits the groove this is a truly brilliant album. Light and shade, deep and expansive, it just soars, and is filled with so many great musical moments. One of the best albums I've heard over the past 12 months, and I've heard a few !

A wonderful evocation the authors early years is painted.
An extremely thorough and in depth view of the authors early years. Possibly not for those who want an autobiography of the musicial history of the man, that comes with volume two. But none the less, a very captivating and insightful picture of what it was like for the author to grow up in an often confusing world.
