Solved broken blind problem!
Thought broken hook end was going to mean an expensive repair by blind fitters; was delighted to discover that I could get just the hook & replace it myself for a couple of pounds. Just prised the old hook off, slotted new one on, sorted & blind working again in 5 minutes.

Very useful guide to the subject
Well written, straightforward, thorough, practical guide to the subject. It very helpfully expanded on the limited introduction I'd already had to this approach on a training course.
