But only a little bit..no waves here then!
Having once served as a crew member on the infamous Radio London, I could identify with some of the happenings in this film, however, we were a much more profesional Radio Station than even Caroline, and much better than 'Rock Radio' as portrayed within this film. However, it was worth watching even for all the inacuracies, and yes it was meant to be a comedy.

This was a number one show of it's time.
As yet I have not received this dvd; but I need not even watch it to know that it will be great in all aspects. How can I be so sure? Well I have a good memory, and I can remember this series when it was first aired. These two people, Fry and Laurie somehow managed to release the perfect chemical mix; and by jove, it works very, very well in anything they do together. (please see Jeeves & Wooster) and you will know what I mean.
It is hard to establish a good comedy double act; one will either always be fighting for supremacy over the other; or will have a natural gift that will put him in the lead.
In light of this, Stephen Fry steps forward into this role, but with an ease and grace which does not diminish the ability of Hugh Laurie; in fact, if anything, it highlights his skills. So what a perfect pair, and what a treat for us that they lasted so long in this and other series. This is only a 'bit of Fry and Laurie' there is however much, much more.
Well worth the watch, and what ever you pay for it, money more than well spent. Second go...I have now received DVD..and all I have said has proved my memory is good . They are absolutely brilliant.
