I was dubious about this fan, but was seduced by all the good reviews and bought one anyway. Don't expect a strong draught, it doesn't need too. The diffence in the temperature above the woodburner when the fan is running is very noticeable anyway, the room also feels less stuffy and the temperature more uniform. I'm glad I read the instuctions as to NOT place this in front of the flu, which is where I would have placed it. Don't know why, maybe the motor gets too hot. All in all I'm well pleased, so much so I'm going to buy another ;0)

Clean Glass
Having being sold unseasoned wood, our wood burner glass was black with burnt on deposits. I thought it was ruined but bought this as a last resort. I'd already tried spray stove glass cleaner, which was useless, and the fumes were awful. This paste doesn't smell nasty, is harmless to your hands, and works like magic!! The makers claim it's a 100 year old formula, which I find hard to believe. Did they have anything this good a 100 years ago!! I only used a tiny bit, this pot will last me years. I've also cleaned my oven door with it with amazing results. The glass now looks like new, your normal run of the mill oven cleaners don't come close. All in all I'm very impressed.

Really Poor quality, awfull in fact. It's tinny, sharp edges, and doesn't fit together properly. I was bought this as a present, now I'm in a very awkward position as I really don't want it. Even if we keep it it'll end up rusted out in two years. My advice is buy a proper one, not this piece of junk.
