One of the best picture books I've seen recently
A jolly good story and lovely drawings. Humerous and serious if you want to see adult sub texts in it. Kids will love this I'm sure

OK for the price
The fact that the price was very good and the green colour were the major factors in the purchase. That and the size which was the optimum for the things to be stored there and the size of the site.
One person experienced in this sort of thing put it up in about 15 hours. It was relatively straight forward although the instructions were awful and I wonder if someone or probably more who had never done anything like this before would have head or tail of them.
The sides and roof are made of very thin metal which isn't a problem once the whole thing is put together as the structure keeps it rigid. The joints between the panels are very narrow however and in the roof this meant that the way it was designed meant that the roof would leak. I drilled extra holes and put more bolts in to make the structure watertight. The bolts provided were of very poor quality and replaced all of them.
However I am pleased that I now have a watertight and useful sized shed that I can store a large mower in to one side of without having to partly dismantle the handle. The wide door is plenty big enough to get in and out of however please bear in mind if you are tall that the doorway is quite low

Wonderful and magical
Miyazaki's homage to what he felt was his country's loss of connection to the natural world and the spirits that inhabit everything. Which is all done in his inimitable light-hearted way immediately accessible to children of all ages.
The little girl Mei and then her sister are drawn into and then helped by the nature spirit Totoro. It is magical and moving and a great introduction to Miyazaki's storytelling and thoughtful cinematography.
