Makita DST221Z 18v LXT 22mm Stapler Body Only 3 Years Warranty

A good stapler but....

Very happy with the usual Makita quality however I was looking for something that could handle bigger and stronger staples for heavy duty fence netting. Unfortunately Makita don’t make a fencing stapler to match that of DeWalt. Overall though, pretty happy with the product and the performance it provided in constructing a chicken coop.

First time user

No previous experience with a biscuit joiner but very impressed with the quality of this tool. A tiny bit expensive I think but not sorry in any way with this purchase. Would definitely recommend. Only criticism would be catching fingers as one slides in the body towards the jig.

Makita DBN500Z 18v LXT Brad Nailer Bare Unit

Couldn’t find many reviews on this tool and the ones I could find were not particularly glowing to the extent I nearly changed my mind and went with DeWalt however, having received the nailer and some brads I tried out the nailer on some lengths of Oak. A 2” brad was easily sunk all the way into seasoned oak. So far only fired a couple of dozen brads but with no misfires etc. So far very happy with my purchase. I can see what professional tradesmen comment on regarding balance of the tool however at present I have no plans on using it to that extent. Giving only four stars as not had enough experience with the tool to truly know its capabilities.
