Wilkinson WVOB Alnico V Bridge Pickup for Telecaster Broadcaster Guitar

Excellent pickups.

I am just writing to say that these pickups are excellent. I've been comparing it to another Tele that I've put Texas Specials in, and I really can't tell the difference between the two in either the tone or the output. When gigging the two guitars I don't change the eq settings of the amp to accommodate the different guitars. Excellent product, and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic pickup regardless of price

I've just fitted the Wilkinson WVOB bridge pickup to my US Standard tele. I think it is excellent. I've been comparing it to a Mexican Tele that I fitted Texas Specials to, and I can't tell the difference between them regarding tone or output. When gigging the two guitars side by side I wouldn't be changing the amp eq to account for one or the other. The screws that hold the pickup are very slightly larger in diameter and I had to drill the bridge plate and open up the holes a miniscule amount to allow them to pass. However, I considered that a minor thing especially as it cost me £22 compared to the £120 that I paid for a pair of Texas Specials.
