1 of 1 found this helpful On reading the enclosed booklet I was perplexed as to how to get this range extender up and running, it seemed rather complicated to me and I very nearly sent it back. However I discovered on youtube that I could ignore all that stuff and just simply plug it in, switch on, let it settle for a couple of minutes and then press its wifi button. I now pressed the wifi button on the modem and although I didn't realize it at the time, it had paired. Now I took the device to an area that previously had a poor signal, plugged it in and on my laptop I searched for wifi. After a few minutes it found a signal labelled "Extender", I locked onto it and bob's your uncle I had a strong signal. I am most impressed with this unit, but you can forget the booklet !!!!!

Mixed feelings.
I am high tone deaf and it worked for me but my wife is happier with the tv sound on its own. I wouldn't pay full price for it.
