Fantastic build quality

A large, heavy reel designed for big fish, but when mounted on a large salmon rod, it is beautifully balanced and you can fish with it all day. It has a number of features which I don't need but the quality of design and construction is excellent. I am delighted with it and have already enjoyed several days fishing with it.

Good quality, reflected in price

A good piece of kit, bought to replace the one I lost at Oulton Park. Excellent quality so although cheaper ones are available, I was prepared to pay a bit extra for the fabric and finish.

Alko quality product

New replacement handle for an Alko jockey wheel design which is no longer available in the UK, nor is the handle. The handle can break if you're a bit vigorous with it, which is presumably why they modified the handle design on later versions, so it was lucky to find the handle for sale, and save having to replace the whole component. Plus it was at a most reasonable price, even allowing for the cost of the postage from Australia. Easy to fit with just a roll pin to knock into position and the jockey wheel now works beautifully again.
