It does what it says on the tin!
This is a worthwhile purchase for any Sheryl fans, especially for those of you who really like the album, The Globe Sessions, from 1998. The set featured on this show draws heavily from that album, and they are songs that don't feature as a rule on her later DVD's, which have tended to become greatest hit type sets. The really pleasing feature of this set is that the band really do rock out at times, lifting the performances onto the next level, and taking off from where the recorded versions left off. The band ( and Sheryl) take quite a few risks, in terms of deviating, and it can be a heavy, messy and unkempt sound at times - that I really liked. Live performances that emulate the album too closely can be annoying - and this is just what Sheryl did when I saw her in London sevral years ago. Not so here though...
Sheryl looks at times like she is auditioning to be one of the Rolling Stones - not laughing much, getting lost in the depth of the songs. That's cool! It looks like a gig I'd have loved to have been part of. There are no extras with the DVD, and the photography is okay, nothing exceptional. Apart from that, the only other thing I would say is that I'm glad Sheryl later went back to having long hair - she looks more like Meg Ryan doing a Stars in their Eyes version of Sheryl here, and I can't get used to it!!

Good quality matt black stove paint. I bought two cans just in case the paint ran out, for a firegrate and a logburner. Goes on well and left a good finish on both.
