Compact adjusters and firm platform
Noted this head with pull-out adjusters. So easy to tighten and compact for travelling. Neat plate release design. Verniers useful though small. Have used a previous magnesium head with awkward and small adjusters, so these more practical.

I am extremely pleased that I won this auction. My bid went in with 13secs to spare, very much last minute.
I had not realised that Cicerone had presented an 8-Volume box set of Mark’s Fellranger. I have known Mark for 54yrs; I taught him to climb within the Gloucester-shire MC and we, in the GMC, soon recognised his talent for understanding the countryside and portraying it in schematic form. I have an original copy of his “The Cotswold Way” 1973, with the inscription “To Steve My First Sale”.

Excellent Protection
As both a lens protector and Filter the Hoya is well made, has clean glass and is an easy fit onto a valuable Canon L lens
