Better Than Expected
For less than $60.00 I give it five stars. I was surprised with the quality of this portable bag closer. I expected to have to take it all apart for adjustments lubrication and tweaking but it was ready to go out of the box. I still took it completely apart just to make sure it was fully lubricated and to judge the quality of construction. It's quite well built with ball bearings and steel bushings at all necessary wear points in the cast iron body. As long as it's lubricated at regular intervals it should last a long time. Mine also had several spare needles, parts and tools included. I've only closed about 30 sacks with it but it hasn't dropped a stitch. Adjustments are easy and straight forward. The feed dogs and presser foot is very substantial and it will walk onto and chain stitch some pretty heavy material. I tested it on several types of material from canvas to cardboard and it performed quite well. It accepts standard spools of thread designed for bag closing machines. The power cord is a generous length and very flexible. What I didn't like is the owners manual and the included oil bottle. The bottle is basically a waste of plastic and the manual is nearly useless due to the translation. It does contain some key dimensions for adjustments so don't throw it away.

Quality, Great Value, True NPT Threads
Seems very well built. Threads are actual National Pipe Taper not BPT or some other form that can't be found here in the US. This is a Very Low Amp draw pilot operated type valve. Well over a thousand cycles on it without any issues. The low cost had me a little worried but it is a quality valve.

Powerful Magnetic Base
This metric threaded base is very strong. Easy to rotate activation lever. Magnetic attraction on two sides adds versatility. Robust and heavy duty.
