Blues Brothers : Briefcase Full of Blues CD
    16 Nov, 2017
    Exactly as expected
No genre bending here, just a quality band backing a couple of blues aficionados out to have fun. You have seen the original 80's movie, nothing new here but a tight band enjoying themselves.

    Derek and Clive live
Heard this way back when, used to have it on vinyl. Very funny BUT very offensive. There is something on this CD to offend everybody. If you like Frankie Boyle then there is a good chance you will like Derek and Clive. The comedy ranges from the puerile to the offensively puerile. If you think discovering disco's and hamburger stands up a hollywood actresses nether regions is amusing then this is the CD you have been looking for. But please approach with caution it IS OFFENSIVE

    Lucky money spyder
This CD was recommended to me in a football related chatroom where the subject was "great movie soundtracks". The Money Spyder by the James Taylor Quartet was recommended even though the movie does not exist! James Taylor apparently wrote it as a soundtrack to a movie in his head and I reckon it's a sixties spy film styled similarly to a Harry Palmer (Michael Caine) thriller. If you like the sound of a "Hammond" organ you'll love Spyder. When it was recommended to me back in March I still had some vouchers left over from christmas and when in town I enquired about the CD's availability and was told the disc had been deleted in the mid nineties, which was why I searched e bay and got a result within 2 weeks. It is now one of my all time favourite soundtrack CD's a selection of my other favourites are Jungle Book, The Omen, Hairspray (soon to be on stage) Pulp Fiction and The Cotton Club. The only disappointment with the CD is a lack of information about the history of the disc or James Taylor or even the record label Acid Jazz. The disc No. is JAZID CD 81 buy it and enjoy.
