No lugs to solder onto - No use for someone using a normal soldering iron
There are no 'lugs' for you to thread the wires through and to then solder. I tried soldering to points on the jack, but it was beyond my skills and equipment.

Perfect for the price and for what it is
Perfect for the price and for what it is: Portable, small, light, sounds good and can run off batteries. All the things I need for Pub open-mic nights. The sound from the built-in speakers is good, but if plug into, say, a PA, the output sounds even better.

I have had a few of these legacy focusrite interfaces and I like them. They are easy to use and generally reliable, but they are discontinued, so any that are still around can be quite old.
