The Lovely Rita
I loved this book but loving the subject was a good start. I will read anything to do with the wonderful Rita. She has brought so much pleasure into my life with her screen personality and especially her dancing ability. The two films with Fred Astaire - You'll Never Get Rich and You Were Never Lovelier were such a joy and Cover Girl is one of my all-time favourite films. I just wish she had enjoyed a happier life and not succumbed to Alzheimer's. At least she had two lovely daughters and Princess Yasmin was able to care for her in her declining years.
