Drywall lifter
I bought this to hopefully make life easier when Installing drywall to tall ceilings and walls.
At first I though it had a big drawback because it doesn't tilt completely vertical but I now understand that what you do is put the sheet roughly in position then gently push the top of the drywall sheet against the wall as the bottom metal 'clip/bracket' supports will continue to hold the sheet bottom just a little off the wall.
You can then wind up the hoist to ensure the top of the sheet meets the ceiling.
Screw along the top of the sheet and some other places before lowering the hoist which should then leave the sheet nicely against the studs.
I've a lot of sloping tall ceilings and tall walls to drywall so we will see how it fairs and what the quality and reliability is like.

I've now used this quite a bit and must say that it has limitations and really only seems suitable for full sheets horizontally.
Try and use it for a vertical sheet or any width under 110cm and the sheet will fall as its not supported.
A simple bit of engineering by the manufacturer to incorporate moving/sliding arms rather than being fixed in position would've made this product so much more useful.
However, not to be beaten I made a couple of minor modifications myself which took ten minutes and can now use the hoist safely for a sheet of any width.

Plasterboard carry handles
I bought these due to thinking the handles 'gripped' the board' ie so I could carry a standard 2.4m sheet horizontally as trying to use hand grip alone I can't do it.
I had seen other handles that gripped the board when you lifter the handle. Simple design but very clever and meant so easy to lift.
This product is nothing like the above. With this product you can only use them on the sides of a sheet when you are lifting the board vertically.
Ie with the 1.2m horizontally.
But if you can move the sheet this way then you already probably have a good grip and won't need the handles which only work by by sliding them sideways onto the sheet.
Waste of money in my opinion unless you have week fingers/week grip.
Much better to get the handles that actually grip the product when it's horizontal and which also save you having to bend to grab from bottom.

An excellent follow up lifting the lid to previous Kray Twin info
An excellent read following up on the previous books/films of the twins, so especially if you lived in the era of the Krays or come from London.
The only drawback for me was the fact that on page 278 the publisher has added a new line into a paragraph but then printed both paragraphs instead of deleting one! I've emailed the publishers to point this out. Apart from that it's pretty well written.
It opened my eyes to some of the underworld and Kray dealings that I had never knew about, like the American Mafia involvement etc. I always thought they were only involved in London dealings but i got that very wrong if this book is to be believed.
Well worth the read.
