Great Value, might not be the unit for city dwellers
Great value for the price. City people or people going through a city might have an RFI problem unless you use PLs on the receive. On 2 meters it was putting out 30 watts with a 6db antenna without getting too hot so it has good power.

Lid closes solid
This was used to replace the push button opening model that I was having problems with. This one snaps closed and never has popped open unlike the push button one that always popped open with even the slightest bump so avoid those easier to use push button ones if you are using the lid to keep water or dust out.

Good but doesn't light up the area as good as halogen
I bought a set of these for a John Deere Gator to reduce the amp draw from the stock halogens. They are easier and brighter for oncoming traffic to see, but they do not light up the roadway nearly as much. I have a set of off road lights which I use for driving at night so I bought these LEDs just for visibility for oncoming traffic and reducing the amperage so they work great for that. I would not use them if they were your only lighting option, but they work great for what I bought them for.
