Correct for FRONT bumper 81-86

Unlike an earlier incorrect review from 40385442 saying the M filled in wasn't correct, this part number has the studs for use on the front bumper of the A/G47 body style Cutlass. All pinned emblems on the front have the filled in M from 81-86 as this is the only part number used. The rear stick-on emblem has the M filled in up through 84 model year (same look as this emblem except pins are cut off and double-side tape was used, part number 555735). Then from 85-up, the M has open legs only on the trunk emblem, and is under a different part number, 20000969. Once you know the details of the emblems it makes it easier to get the correct parts for your car. This is a genuine GM product and is correct for the front bumpers that used the pinned emblem.

Still a bit confusing why they state they won't ship within a 30 day window and then after a couple weeks they did. I should have read the fine print

Still a bit confusing why they state they won't ship within a 30 day window and then after a couple weeks they did. I should have read the fine print sooner as I didn't realize this until after I placed the order. Seems like a drop ship setup to me. Which is fine, but just say so upfront. I got exactly what I ordered, and the far off ship date was covered. If you are looking to need an item a few weeks later, it's fine. But if you need it quick, I'd consider another place to purchase from.
