Good WebCam for the Money
Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Web Cam has all necessary components for video communication (Skype). There probably are higher quality web cams out there but for the money (used auction won at price noticeably below new unit) I doubt I could have done much better. I recommend it for this purpose.

Good quality... but not great.
Item was delivered as promised and for two weeks now getting a lot of fun usage. I do recommend it as a OKAY/GOOD but not a great value or high quality item. After this short time of use the second pin below the comb just fell out and the allen wrench nuts already need tightening. Thankfully we found and gently hammered the pin back into place, and can tighten the nuts.

Bought for my son for when his friend(s) come over. The unit was delivered as promised and all seem to enjoy the added fun when playing multi-player games, both off-line and on-line through xbox live.
