Bright and simple
I bought this lamp to replace the original that came with my InFocus X1 back in 2004.
The installation was simple enough, if you can replace a household light bulb you'll be able to do this following some simple steps by the manufacturer.
The old lamp died after almost 3000 hours of service over more than 13 years. As soon as I fired up the new one I noticed the change in brightness, I read that by the end of their lifetime they tend to dim. This was very noticeable because with the new one the difference what very clear.
I use to need almost total darkness in the room to project a movie, now I'm able to enjoy it without boarding the windows LOL.
I'm very happy with the purchase and I hope to squeeze a few more years out of my X1 with this new lamp.
