Kenwood KMIX Silver
Boils fast. Handle/grips, switches and moveable parts all appear to be well made to last unlike the similar looking Russell Hobbs that this was bought to replace where the on/off switch snapped off! The only negative point appears to be slight dribbling down the kettle whilst pouring but this I can be overlooked due to efficiency everywhere else. Well worth the £30 spent for a brand new item.

Quality Genuine Part
Genuine part with apparently improved o-ring that makes good seal to stop air getting into engine phantom revving that comes with it. Engine also noticeably quieter as soon as dipstick was changed for old one

Upgrade
Fitted to an ASUS N53SV. Much better quality than the original OEM keyboard. I can now type efficiently without having to forceably hit the keys!
