One of the best directional microphones on the market!

Rode is a name brand in the video and audio recording industry that is known for its quality. I tested it recording a thunderstorm and the audio was impressive.. Light weight so it won't be able to tell it is on your camera or camcorder.
I needed this at thanksgiving this year recording each person telling what they were thankful for. It will not pick up on sounds from the left and right while recording your subject. A little pricey but worth every penny if your budget will allow.
