ConCor Diner -- A Good Starting Point For Your More Detailed Project
I am using this car to model an SCL diner. It is not exactly the same -- but it is a good place to start. The body detail is good -- not the same as Walthers or Rapido -- but then also more affordable than the other companies. I will likely body mount the couplers as this model comes with talgo style trucks. Also, the truck frames are molded plastic -- so you may need to get metal conductive trucks if you plan to light up the car. Con Cor cars all lack interiors -- so plan to get one from IHC or Walthers unless you are really handy at building interiors on your own.
