Well made bit of kit.
Appears well made and I like the mounting bracket system. The rewind mechanism works well. I've wanted one of these for a while now and I'm very please with it as it helps keep my garage tidy.

Haynes manuals are still relevant even in 2019.
I grew up using Haynes manuals from my first car a Mk1 Cortina back in 1981 and have found them useful to this day. Sure they are not perfect as they come from a different age where all technical manuals had black and white pictures and lots of text.
Where they excel is the way the information is laid out and they are a good reference for torque values and the like.
I bought this VW manual to supplement the Bentley manual as I knew Haynes would have a different perspective and I needed that.
