Cheap and cheerful

Good value kettle
Not well balanced and would perhaps be difficult for an elderly person to use. Otherwise fine

Cheap and cheerful but with limitations.
Does mostly what it says on the tin and is fine for recording programmes while watching other broadcasts, which is why we wanted it. The HD facility seems a bit dodgy - watching anything in HD the screen goes black for half a second every so often and this is really irritating. So I wouldn't recommend it if HD is what you want it for and I suspect the quality is pretty shoddy but at £27 it is good value.
